Amit Gar'inim
The Amit Gar’inim School serves children with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or developmental disabilities. The School strives to meet the individual needs of each child through creative programming and schedules. This allows us to serve children on the autism spectrum as well as children with other developmental delays and medical disorders.
Starting in kindergarten, the children receive academic and therapeutic support in the Gar’inim classrooms and are included for non- academic subjects with the children of the host school. The children receive intense academic support with highly qualified teachers in a small group atmosphere. They also receive speech and language therapy and occupational therapy, in the classroom setting, which allows the teachers to integrate the therapy into the day to day classroom routine.
Gar’inim currently serves children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Our hope is to eventually accommodate children through high school.
Gar’inim is currently housed at the Alfred & Adele Davis Academy which has welcomed our children with open arms.
